About me
"The one thing you have that no one else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write, draw, build, play, dance and live as only you can. "—Neil Gaiman
Sylvie Taillefer is the founder of Coaching Carrière. Sylvie is a guidance counselor (CO), member of the Order of Counselors and Guidance Counselor of Quebec (OCCOQ) since 2004. She is also a professional member of the Quebec Association of Career Development Professionals (AQPDDC) member of the Association for Guidance Counselors in private practice (ACOP) and member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). She holds a bachelor's degree in career development and a master's degree in careerology from the University of Quebec in Montreal. She had the chance to work in Quebec, but also abroad for several years.
When she was in Quebec, she worked in different sectors of activity (community, school, organizational, private and public) as well as with different clienteles (adolescents, adults, immigrants). As soon as she obtained her master's degree, she opened her own business and describes herself as an entrepreneur at heart! Subsequently, she wanted to broaden her horizons by moving to Bermuda (an archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean). During this expatriation, she had the chance to work with major international companies that she accompanied in the field of human resources (recruitment, training, relocation, compensation, and much more). She is therefore aware of and empathetic to the challenges that families may encounter when they have to relocate. She is an experienced career counselor who can guide you towards choices that suit you. She is passionate about people and the job market. She also has the firm conviction that each person can find their place and be happy in the professional environment in order to realize their full potential.
